Lots of guys adapted a Needle Valve to get low temps on their Propane Smokers. Your Griddle may benefit as well..

I've done the needle valves on numerous cookers but it'd be a bit involved with this unit. It has 2) two-section burners on it. You'd either have to install one needle valve and lose the availability of running different temps on the burners or install two valves which would entail tearing apart the existing valve system (cutting it to pieces) and totally rebuilding it in order to run different temps on the burners. Believe me my friend, I looked at it. With what would be involved, I'll just work with what I have :emoji_wink:

Good idea though....

Very creative Robert! You rock. Looks great. Thanks for sharing, there seems no end in sight with what you can do on that Griddle. Enjoy.

Very much appreciate it Mike. As myself and a bunch of other folks are getting into these griddles, their versatility just continues to become more and more evident. You can do SO much on these things I can't believe I waited so long to get one.

Hell yeah! How many gallons is your pool good for Robert!?

Uhhhh....18,000 gallons Steve :emoji_laughing: That's mean about 1,000 gallons each of Worcestershire and Tabasco, a couple tanker trucks full of vodka, and about 750 bunches of celery. Does that sound about right? PARTY TIME!!

Another one OUT OF THE PARK!

As it has been said great creativity on this one partner.

BIG LIKE!

Makes my pizza efforts look tame brother

Thank you John!! I did thoroughly enjoy this one, both making it and eating it. As far as making your pizza efforts look tame, nowhere near correct. IMHO you're still the Pizza King from what I've seen you turning out recently. Did you and Sue do pizzas again last Friday?

Wanna see the pics...they just keep getting better

You have all my Respect and a bit of envy.

Thanks so much for that Jimmy but all that may well change if you were to see what I did last night. I committed another culinary faux pas. Did Chicken Fried Steak on the griddle made with NY Strip steaks, homemade mashed potatoes & gravy, and a nice salad. It was WAY outside the boundaries of acceptable cooking techniques but it was the best CFS I've ever had. The char from the griddle was totally out of bounds but amazing.

Ashamed for breaking the rules...again,
Robert

Nope, ended up passing on the pizza this week, did a couple of pork tenderloins instead....need to get them off the phone and posted.

We have talked about doing one sometime this week though. :emoji_wink:

We tossed around the idea of using some hot italian sausages this time, and of course the usual pepperoni and veg.

That's not breaking any rules. Cube Steak or Round may be more common, but they are so Tough. NY STRIP is a great way to get flavor and tenderness from Country Fried Steak.
I recently watched a video where a Restaurant Chef made CFS on a Griddle. A 2 oz laddle of Clarified Butter, for each side, made a beautiful crisp crust...JJ

Damn Robert I am late to the party but you killed that one man! I knew if there was someone who could make a griddle pizza it would be you and you didn't let me down. They look fantastic and big points for the creativity. Keep killing it man.

Where the heck did an idea like that come from!? Excellent idea and points for creativity.

I’ll take two please while I float in your Bloody Mary pool on a bacon weave.

Thank you John. Appreciate the faith you have in my abilities to do stupid stuff :emoji_laughing: It was you and AZ John ( Smokin' in AZ Smokin' in AZ ) with all your pizza threads that made me want to try this.

As stated, I think margaritas have the same hallucinogenic qualities at LSD so I hang out in the pool every afternoon expanding my mind in a manner that would make Timothy Leary proud :emoji_wink:

You may have to fight Tracy for the bacon weave floatie so be prepared for an epic battle!! Thank you for the kind words my friend.
