I've always been fascinated by owls.
Last night I couldn't sleep so I went out and sat on my steps and there were two eastern screech owls in two different oaks on the property and another further away. That's a first for me to hear 3 owls within listening distance.Could've been a pair and a fledgeling, even though they're way past nesting season I do remember at an Audubon show the presenter saying they will continue to feed their young for quite some time.
Anyways it was a very cool experience.
