Original OKJ Bandera Question

    Does anyone here have one of the original OKJ Bandera style (not sure what the company called them then) smoker and can comment on the quality? I've seen them from time to time and they don't seem built like the Horizon.
    Is it 1/4 steel?

    You're thinking of New Braunfels. And you need to get an early model for the heavier metal. Evidently New Braunfels downgraded the smoker before it was ever Oklahoma Joe or Char Broil. I don't think it was 1/4" though, not entirely.
