Just joined, so I could learn from some of you experts and share some of my experiences with you. I have owned Webber, Holland, Kamado Joe and just bought a Traeger Timberline 850 in April.

My expierence with the Traeger has been very disappointing. When you spend $1400 plus you expect that they would have at least average customer service. Unfortunately, Traeger has terrible service. I will go into more detail later later in future posts.

Have a great summer and I'm looking forward learning from all of you.

I am a big Iowa Hawkeye fan and live in Nebraska. It can be challenging at times

Traeger will not sync with my phone. I have to use 2.4GHZ to connect with my phone but the Timberline no longer shows what channel I am using at my house. No one at Traeger knows how to reinstate it back on my grill. I have had to put in a new thermocupler and have been told that my grill needs a new update, but only found out its for older Timberlines.

Customer service is pathetic. I would be on line and then all of a sudden they would lose my call. More than once I was on with someone for over an hour and they would finally tell me "they have no idea"

I would love for just once for Traeger to answer my questions. They have grown so quickly, but customer support has been terrible. I'm not sure they really care about the customer after the sale.
