I got a free 4x6 trailer today, not bad shape, has diamond tread and jack and all.

I was going to take a break for a little while.......but this would be perfect for the 120 gallon charcoal / propane grill I have always had a design in the back of my mind for.............

Thanks Jarjarchef

You know,....I have Model #16's cooking chamber sitting in my garage. Its 1/8 thick square box approx 42 high, 38" wide and 38' deep with about 6 expanded metal pull out shelfs, a pie vent on each side,

If you think you might be able to use it, Im sure we can work a trade.

Ive numbered my smoker builds over the last 20 years, all the way back to the original gas grill conversion I made at my first apartment.

#16 was a verticle rib smoker, mounted on a trailer, used the trailer and firebox on other builds but never did anything with the cook chamber.  It was a good cooker, and a succesful experiment,  just didnt have the look I wanted.

Always fiqured it would be good to build a firepit with fire brick and mount this on top of it and make a backyard smoker.

See, I number them so everyone knows which one Im talking about. Just fun stuff, you know.
