Not necessarily smoker related, but stoked about my garage sale find today

Well, I guess this could be smoker related. Just think of all the meat I can keep cold in this thing. And I can't even imagine how many cold beers I'll pull out of here while smoking goodies in the smokers.

Just the other day I really started thinking that I needed to try and score a dorm fridge from a garage sale or auction for my 2nd garage.
This thing is WAAAAAYYY cooler than any stinkin' dorm fridge

And not bad for $25.00

It is real clean, looks relatively new, and runs pretty quiet. I can only imagine how many beers this thing would hold. 200 maybe?? Maybe more?

It has wheels on the bottom so I can roll er' around to wherever I want to.

What I like about this one is that usually when you see these, they are either real old, or real big, or both!

And it has slots where you can actually slide in your own placards on the sides, so if I really wanted to get crazy, I could get some plastic cut and put whatever design I wanted to on it

Spare ribs are on sale tomorrow for $1.89 / lb. Maybe I'll see how many of those fit in there.

Sounds good Caveman. We could try an experiment. Fill it with beer, throw on a brisket, and see if we could see the bottom of the cooler by the time the brisket is done :)

Sure, rub it in! A little smoked salt in the wound!

Just kidding, that's a dandy of a cooler!

Not to throw cold water on it, but you might want to only use it for picnics & other outside get-togethers. Or at least put a meter on it, if you decide to keep it plugged in. Those things are usually big energy consumers. It could cost a fortune to operate 24/7.

I hated to, but thought I should mention it.

I have a dumb question... Is it a Cooler or a Freezer?

GREAT find either way but i wouldn't put my beer in the Freezer...
