Pontefract UK
Hi my name is Ian and live in the Old World the UK, Pontefract (where the liquorice comes from), so BBQ and Smoking tends to be a rare thing over here  with our wonderful weather! However, I can cook very well and even had a restaurant for some time. I have a gas griller/bbq and I have just got hold of a small smoker it's about 3 feet long enough for here. So I am looking to get some good advice and help from in this case the "experts" in Smoking,  notice I didn't use the term BBQ or as they say in South Africa the "Brai". BBQ is easy but I am thinking that smoking is going to be a real nice way to cook. I just can't wait to do my first Brisket it just looks so good.

So what will this old guy (61) from the UK be looking for well rub recipes and of course those famous American BBQ seasonings and sauces. So I hope you will welcome me as just another Noob looking for help. Ian
