Thanks!

Definitely taking notes. For me its getting used to how fast this unit cooks and then just tweaking time and temp.
Yup, you don't want to be caught off guard.
These things get done a lot faster than any other way, so you can't use their recipe times & temps.
The hardest thing for me to learn was how the "Smart Probe" cooking works.
I got it real good for steaks now. Ours are different, but I'd bet a lot of things are the same.

Good looking chow, Norm. Chicken legs look especially good.

Wish I had room for a large air fryer.

Congratulations on your good deal.

Did you get the 8 or 10 quart model, Norm?

That was quickly discovered! From the few mistakes I've made you need lower the temp and lessen the time, ovedone can't be undone.

Some new goodies done over the weekend.

Basic flat bread pizza, store bought crust with onion, peppers, mushrooms and smoked steak.

The t-bone steak is from the second set of pics, spog and into the MES with char/hickory dust until 115 and then into the Ninja until med/rare.Some of that steak ended up on that pizza. That steak was a beast.

Potatoes wedges with cheese and bacon and bunch of other things I'll have to ask Jane about.Scallions were involved.

The final is shrimp, char and asparagus. The char was initially smoked in the MES before going into the Ninjav with spog being the only spices again. The shrimp is coated in nothing more than italian bread crumbs and the asparagus in lemon and pepper.
