I bought a Char-Griller Pro with SFB and have been using it to grill.
I want to try smoking with charcoal and maybe wood chips or chunks.
However, their website says the SFB requires wood logs and that you can't use charcoal (unless only as a starter)?
Its paragraph 12-- says you "MUST USE WOOD LOGS" ...
LINK
This surprises me considering how many people seem to use charcoal there for smoking?
Can anyone fill me in on why it says that?
I don't even know where to buy wood logs of smoking wood.
Has anyone used charcoal in the SFB to smoke effectively?
Thanks.
