I'm too old and too many shoulder surgeries to be swinging a hammer to break down pallets. Lol

These pallets I got from son in law were for the pellets they make car dashes and such for, like extrusion type stuff.

This is the pallet breaker I bought, won't be here until the 20th.

Finally got snoopy on the operating table.

The original electronics got by passed a few years ago so I just took it all off.

Now take off old element.

Now install the new.

Cot off all the old connections, put new on and re routed all the wires.
I also mounter my PID Thermocouple fast to the inside.

And I had to go buy some cobalt drill bits.

I also installed a circulation fan.

Plugged everything in, Fan spins free, element gets hot.

Putting it all back together, the insulation is pretty brittle.

Control box for the fan. Auber sells a control and motor to adjust the speed of the fan but I think this one is good.

Next

Some summer sausage.
 
Put couple hooks on to hang my PID so it dont have to sit on a table. Still have couple more hook to put on for the 12v plug for the fan.

Still a work in progress.
