My name is Chris and I live on the West Coast (San Francisco Bay Area). I am very new to smoking meat...I have not done it at all yet, however, I have been reading many books, articles, and of course navigated all through the Smoking-Meat.com website. I am going to try and smoke meat on my Weber Genesis Gas Grill, I have heard it may be easier (starting out) with this type of equipment only because I can regulate the temperature just by adjusting the gas. I have purchased a smoke box and several kinds of wood chips (apple, hickory & mesquite) along with the Rib Rub receipe and 5-day e-course. If I have questions starting out...can you tell me where (which forum/topic) to post questions to for "beginners".
