Long time lurker decided to join! I’m running a char grill smokin pro I’ve since figured out its problems. Intake is 4.5 inches exhaust only 3. That causes high pressure reducing airflow put on a 6 inch stack that fixed it all.

That works in an internal combustion engine, but not for a smoker. Happy you got it resolved.
