Greeting from South Alabama! I'm not new to cooking or grilling, but definitely to smoking. A long-time Weber kettle grill user, I've dabbled a bit in smoking on the kettle grill but never used a proper smoker. I'd like to learn more about this art from those who have tons more experience with it.

What brought me here was a WSM 14.5 that I found at the curb, which I'll tell more about in an upcoming post.

Welcome from uh summer so I'm in NW Minnesota.
Sawgrass? Knew where you called home. We sometimes take the scenic route from Dothan across lower Alabama in our migration. Stopped at Climax AL for a photo as we have a Climax in MN.
I've smoked in both 22" and 16" kettles. You'll have fun with the WSM.
