Hello fellow BBQer's, Grillers, and Smokers.
My name is Bradley and I'm a smoking n00b from Sacramento, CA and I'm very glad I found this forum.

This summer, I was invited to a BBQ and got hooked on the awesome flavors of various types of smoked meats, fish and veggies.  These folks had all different types of smokers and grills going.  They even had a Weber going smoking some pork.  I thought to myself, "I have a Weber, I should do that."  Well easier said than done.  Tried 3 different times and ended up failing all 3 times, having to finish off the meat in the oven and such.  Great smoke flavor, but was not as tender as my previous experience.

So, I started doing some reading and research on smokers paying close attention to the personal reviews and experiences.  I decided I was not ready to drop $$$ on a new smoker.  The smokers at my local HD & Lowes all had more negative reviews than positive.  Finally, I decided to keep an eye on Craig's list and picked up a used Char-Broil Water Smoker model 4754512.
The smoker is in great shape and I'm looking forward to doing some smoking this weekend if the "domestic" schedule allows.

- Char-Broil 6-Burner Propane Gas Grill

- Char-Broil Deluxe H2O Electric Smoker

I can still count the meat I've smoked on 1 hand...
