Hey there, just came across your site while researching the smoking of peppercorns, and had to sign up after seeing all the info here. I'm located right on the border of MN/WI, on the WI side.
I currently use a Masterbuilt Electric Digital Smoker, the non-glass front, and insulated. Love it thus far. This weekend I began the process of smoking some sea salt that I am going to hand out at Christmas for gifts.
Look forward to diving in to all the info here, and plan on building myself one of the cardboard box cold smokers this week as well to smoke some cheese.
