Just wanted to say thanks in advance to everyone here!
I've enjoyed grilling 3-4 times a week during the nicer weather months here in KC, and had always wanted to get into smoking meats. I finally decided to bite the bullet and dive in. I had a basic smoker picked out, and then stumbled on to this site. Wow, was that an eye opener. There was so much information, I decided to shelf my initial selection, and read hundreds of posts.
Happy to say, my Masterbuilt Electric 40" should arrive tomorrow. I've got all my other supplies ready to go!
Looking forward to getting the smoker unboxed, assembled, seasoned, and firing it up for the first of many smoking sessions!
