All websites should be designed for Cross Browser support, if not that is very poor coding, it should work in ALL Browsers. Chrome, Firefox, safari, Internet Explorer. The website should also be checked for responsive = Ipads/Phones/Tablets etc.

An easy way to test cross browser compatability is using Chrome built in tools, this is the first thing a web designer should do = Good practise.

Also an extension for chrome which is very easy:

I'm with a couple of others on change. I don't like having to re-find "the button" or figure out what "the new button does". But it's worth as this is simply the best forum I have participated in. Even disputes are civil and short and very few . So I'll adapt. Maybe next time do the changes in baby steps for us "rigid and stuck in our ways"

The Mods and Admins don't really like having to change either and we have to try to re-find the button as well. That said as the technology changes the software has to change to support it I still hate that I'm being forced to leave IE but some sites like Facebook already don't run correctly on it anymore and you keep getting messages you need to change browsers.
