Hi there, I've recently brought a brand new GMG DB and on the second cook i did a rack of lamb seared on top of grill grates at 500f just like on the video on the gmg you tube channel. However after about 10 minutes in, the auger jammed. The temp dropped and i couldn't get the grill going again. After letting the grill cool down i pulled the drip tray and heat shield out and noticed that the auger was not turning when i was starting the grill up again. I called the dealer who were fantastic and sent me out a replacement auger assembly, no question asked. It is all fixed now but after pulling out the old auger i think that the high heat, plus using grill grates has caused the heat to travel along the auger and warp the bushing plate which holds the auger. This has made me not want to use the grill grates or cook at such a high heat. I was just wondering what you guys think??
Thanks
Thanks
