Need Help!!!!

i need to get a gasser so as not to get up @ 3 am to do my butt's. All this talk about coffee cans, brick's, cast iron pans, but no pics of any of these mod's

. Also if i am going to do an "overnighter" how do i go about keepin the butt moist?

BTW it will be a gosm when the deal goes down. Thanks fella's and ladie's.

Keep it out of the wind, bump up the burner as night time temps start to drop, I keep water in my pan unless I'm developing a bark or crisping skin on birds.

Lots of pics in the propane mods thread, maybe not everything you're looking for but a good start.

Congrats on going gas! Once you get to know the GOSM after a few smokes, you'll get to know it well and it can turn into an addiction...be careful there! LOL!!!

I'm in the same boat you are. I am hopefully picking up my BBGOSM on Friday. I am going to play with it stock and then try the mods if needed. The bricks and sand are for temp stabilization. not much mystery there. I would like to see a pic of someone's coffee can. I need something that will smoke at a lower temp than what the supplied box will apparently do.

Dang...I just looked at the propane mod thread. We lost a bunch of posts after the forum server crash...lots a stuff musta been posted after 10-10-08, and it's gone.

Or you could get an Afterburner from www.gassmoker.com for your CGSP.

I have one in my SnP and love it! I did a 17 hour brisket smoke with it in November. I would point you to the thread but . . . well, you know.
