Hi everyone!

Obviously I love bbq. Its a staple here in North Carolina :)

Anywho, on a budget so bought a Brinkmann Smoke n Grill. Think its referred to as ECB on these forums lol.

Havent done any of the mods yet but its apparent I need to. Can never keep my temp more than inbetween warm-ideal.

Smoked a 6lb pork butt for 8 hours with hickory chunks. Tasted nice but wasnt as cooked as Id liked it to be.

Then it took me 6 hours to smoke some smithfield baby backs. I thought they wouldve been done sooner but they were pretty good regardless.

So anyway, thats my first 2 attempts at smoking. Hoping to learn more and get this cheap grill performing better! :)

Hello and welcome to the fun.  There are many members who can help you with the mods.  I don't have one of these smokers but someone will be along shortly.  Have fun.  Keep Smokin!
