Looks good from here, what kind of problems did you run into?

Looks good John

I have a Masterbuilt pellet pooper that is a cheap throw together that resembles a cross bred Traeger and PitBoss . Funny they don't make them anymore.
Temperature control is terrible. Once I can get it to settle down it does OK, but not a walk away for very long as it may have a tantrum.

A smoke tube is a must for a pellet pooper. Run a mix of pellets and chips. Friend of mine runs 2 smoke tubes in his pellet pooper.

Looks like a winner from here. I've only ever used 1 pellet cooker so I don't know if the cooker can make any difference in smoke flavor? Once I stopped trying to make the same flavor profile as a stick burner I found more success in my pellet cooks. I also try to used 100% pellets when available. I hope your pellet experience improves. I love mine.

Wife can't take the heavy smoke these days so the pellet smoker gets used more these days. I add a tube with pellets and hickory bark in it.

Pellet does seem to produce less smoke than a stick burner. You can drop the temp to the 180-200 F range to get optimal smoke from a pellet. You can also add a smoke tube as well that will give you about 4 hours of smoke.
