Mes smoker chips

Does anyone out there make there own small chip for the MES. I need some ideas. I want to try some Paw Paw and persimmon, Dog Wood and others. Thanks for the help. I have my first on the MES.

I make my own chunks from my own wood exclusively now. Marshmallow size is good but you can make the soft woods like apple and peach larger and the harder woods like pecan and hickory smaller.

The sizing does affect the burn rate

Just add a couple through the tray when needed.

Like this approach much better than using chips

works for me, but just my opinion
