MES 140B paint flaking off

Is this normal? The paint finish is wrinkling and flaking off. I knew it wouldn’t look new forever by I though I would get past 2 smokes before something like this started.

It appears normal. The plastic around the door top etc. will split as well.

Wow. Would have thought they were made a little better than that.
