Memphis in May 2008 Pics

Since I joined here after MiM this year, thought I should share some of the pics.

It was our first time cooking for this team and we only had about 10 days to get ready. That's not long to get ready for the River. We finished 71st...not great, but better than they had done in years. We were happy with our first time out ever cooking in a MiM sanctioned contest.

From my point of view (and my experience level), just making turn in time and not coming in dead last is a heck of a feat for a first year MiM cooker. Out of a 115 rib cookers, 71st is not bad at all!

Looks like a lot of work and a ton of fun!

Turn in time was EASY. Of course we started WAY too early. A bit of nerves mixed with just the worry that we would be late. Next year I'll get a couple more hours of sleep Friday night! We were hoping to be about in the middle so we were close to our goal.
