Liked the use of your Meater there... I almost always break mine out for meatloaf.

Yea, FRESH field peas. Not sure how much longer we can get them, but I'll take 'em when I can get 'em. Even if the farmer's market charges twice as much ($5/lb) as the Kroger's dried beans ($2/lb?).

About time for me to plant 'em down here in zone 9a...tomatoes are done. Field peas LOVE the heat so you should be able to get them for a while longer....
