I received an email from Masterbuilt the other day announcing a "new" smoker calling it their "Bluetooth digital electric smoker" sort of a 2.5 version. I see they corrected  the side vent problem and placed it back on the top as in Gen 1. they even put a sun shade on it. If anyone gets one of these please review it and let us know.Maybe they will get it right this time.
