I recently bought the Masterbuilt electric bullet on sale at HD for $32. I also have a Masterforge charcoal bullet from Lowes. I like the Masterforge bullet itself and would rather use it than the Masterbuilt. Is it possible to put the electrical element into the charcoal bullet? Has anyone tried/done this?

I have a Brinkman Smoke N Grill that had the option of buying a 1500 watt electric element for it. Which I did. But I didn't really use it, until of late.
I discovered (many years ago now) I could buy just the smoke generator for a Bradley Smoker. So I got one thinking I'd find my way to use it. It wound up being grafted to the little Brinkman, and I had an acceptable two level round smoker.
But over the years, Bradley thinks the pucks for the smokers are some kind of gold mine. And they priced themselves out of my retirement budget. (I'm becoming a real crotchety old fart. I actually expect something for my money.)
But, back on point, Brinkman at one time did offer an electric option for their "bullet" smoker.

I would do it this way if you are handy with tools and inventive. I'd get an element from an electric stove and install it in the charcoal pan. Then graft a burner control in, or just use it plug connected. (My Brinkman element is just plug in.)
