actually this works out great, as i just used the last of my mesquite last time i smoked (two weekends ago). i know i have to season it first, but i have some pecan, oak, and maple to use in the meantime.

I would never mention seasoning the smoking wood to you; as I know, you know... In the spring, let the mesquite smoke roll thinly from your stack !!!
