Newguy here ...

I got hooked on REAL BBQ in Huntsville, Alabama after a corporate move.  After having pot roast masquerading as BBQ with some cheap sweet sauce most of my life, I wasn't a huge fan of true BBQ.  Good meat on a gas grill was the norm or, on my mother's electric grill in her kitchen was about as good as it got.  I eventually discovered the joys of charcoal in a Weber but, that was something I did infrequently since the gas grill was so much faster and easier.

Then I moved to Alabama ...

and my BBQ addiction began.  I was a goner after my first taste of Big Bob Gibson's in Decatur.  Then I started adding Pecan to the charcoal in my Weber.

Now, I find myself back in Arizona and seriously missing real smoked meat BBQ.  The search for an efficient electric smoker has begun .....

Hi Kat!

It looks like you're where I used to live, Toney actually.  I worked by the airport and later off Jan Davis Drive while I was in Alabama.

I updated my profile but, the first time it didn't save.  I tried again and can see it now.
