Hey guys, I'm looking for a suggestion on a quality grill without having to dish out an arm and a leg. I know the weber name had good products, but I'm trying to see if I can find any other suggestions that might be less expensive. The grill I have only last me two years, and I kept it covered whenever it wasn't in use.

I would appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks,

Sorry, what I meant is I'm looking for a propane grill. There are a lot out there for around $150, but it seems like they only last a couple years and is time for a new one. I'm looking for something that will last a little longer

I was in the same boat, had a $400 that last me 2 years. Always covered and under cover but was made of cheap metal and heat rotted it out. I ended up going with this grill and couldn't be happier!

You are in a bind.....I see your last grill only lasted 2 years but you "don't want to spend a lot" on a new grill.  Prepare yourself to be buying yet another grill in about 2 years if you go cheap.  I have the Weber Genesis.....yes it wasn't cheap but it is a quality grill and I have had it for years.  Looks almost brand new because I take care of it.  Do yourself a huge favor and get a good grill and be done with it.

I paid $90 for my Weber kettle One Touch Silver.  i have put $22 charcoal baskets in it so i can have two zone cooking and i bought a replacement grate for it after a year and a half for about $20-25. i have had it over two years and its a great grill. i used to be a solid propane only guy for grills but now that i use charcoal i only use propane when I'm using my Dad's grill.  If you are looking to go under $200 get a kettle and a few accessories. you can even smoke with it. i throw pellets in it or a wood chunk or two when i want a smokey flavor in a steak or hamburger. Heck some guys one here smoke pork butts with them. its versatile cheap and it will last. can't beat it!

Happy Smoking,

Did you find a grill yet?

I purchased a Uniflame from Walmart or Canadian Tire I can't remember which one. But I know it was only like 150 to 200 bucks. For a gas grill it does the job. The only thing I have had to do to it in 5 years is replace the heat plates that are onto of the burners. I know everyone says get a Weber and yes it is the way to go. But if you only have so much money then you have no choice. Good luck finding your gas grill.

Also try using Craigslist or other local sights like that you never know what you will stumble across.
