Been a long time reader of all of your great information and finally decided to do the right thing and become an active member. I have always loved dining on great smoked meats and took the plunge several years ago and decided to learn the trade. I have been using a converted old discarded Weber grill modified with a Pitmaster IQ temperature control. An inexpensive way to get introduced into the smoking experience. I have been very happy with my ribs, chicken, salmon, fatties, ABT's and pulled pork smokes (thanks to all of you and the great info contained on this site) and look forward to doing my first brisket in the near future. (Nothing better than trying something new!)

Great site and the best folks!

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.
