I'm doing a 2# london broil and about 4-5 short ribs tomorrow (and some abt's). I've never smoked either cut, so I'm wondering what the time difference will be? I'm thinking the ribs may need a little longer than the LB (I like my beef pretty rare). Anybody know what I can expect in terms of timing them?

You'll probably want to smoke the ribs at a low and slow temp around 225 to 250 deg. F. With that said, the london broil will smoke along quite well too. I'd think there wouldn't be much of a time variance however keep a therm in both pieces of meat to ensure they're cooked to your preference.

If I had to make a time estimate, I'd think you're looking at around 3-5 hours?

Don't over do the London Broil. I pull them out around 135º internal. Cut thin slices and across the grain at 45º (unlike I did in this photo
