Little Red Dots

Wasn't quite sure where to post this but I have noticed that On the Home Page in front of some of the new threads there is a little red dot but others do not have one.

Does anyone know what their significance is?

I have no idea , but I just went and looked . All the ones that have dots , are threads I have not looked at .

Ok ive been going back and forth from threads to home page.....when I look at a thread the dot goes away. Then when someone posts the dot comes back...so I guess its showing you new pists tobthe thread even if your not folowing?

So when you just posted this the red dod did not come back but I did get a notification like normal. So that confirms that if you look at a thred and don't post or follow its just a dot to show you there are posts you have not seen yet. ....at least thats what I have gathered so far. I could be completely wrong. ( ive been wrong a lot lol!)

I believe you have it. I had also noticed when I viewed a thread the red dot would go away, and then latter it would be back so I started looking to see if it came back when others had posted to the thread.
