Got my SV18 today and wanted to get started with some simple things. Seasoned it early. Then smoked a salmon filet, thanks Disco. Then I started some "blazin pistachios". I have three bags of pellets that I was using on my Masterbuilt portable. In another thread I asked if I could use the pellets in the Smoke Vault. Al advised against this. Today I was looking at a comment section of a site where a Camp Chef employee says its great to use pellets in the Smoke Vault. Bad idea. There was so much smoke I was sure the fire department would be showing up. Everything ended up fine, but I will remember to listen to Al.
