just a word of caution: all microwaves are not equal.... If I followed the timeframe in the video I'd have a very smoky house at the least, and maybe a fire in the microwave. (and a very irritated wife, ask me how I know).

Yup!  I put my pellets on a paper plate to absorb the condensation as they cooked in the microwave for two minutes.  A couple pellets burned through the paper plate and fell on the floor as I was removing them from the microwave.
