So I just got back from my first competition and I gotta say it went better than what I expected especially since the big boys were there competing and it was my first. I was 22 overall out of 34 and my maple burbon bbq sauce came in 4th about .46 points away from third and my cherry bbq sauce came in 5th. Johnny Trigg came in as grand master champion but I got to meet him talk to him (and honestly I got him to sign my hat and take a photo with him). It was a bear to get my smoker there since it wasent a pull behind and my other grills weren't big enough to handle what I needed them to do so....I'll be making another grill...lol....yayyyyyy. And we got a free camper out of the deal due to a friend coming by and seeing that we had no camper or anything and we got rained out. We met some awesome people and made some new friends. I knew that the bbq world was awesome but I had honestly no idea. Once I get some photos loaded up I'll be puttin on the q view. That includes the boxes I turned in.

Congrads on a great time and great placement. In anything you do if you learn and have a fun time doing it you are a winner.Looking forward to the pics
