Just getting started

Hi all, just found this forum a few days ago and have learned a lot and have a tons more to learn.  I haven't bought a smoker yet, but I think I'm going to go for the smokin it #1 smoker.  Gets nothing but great reviews everywhere I look, just have to convince myself to spend $300 on a hobby I'm not fully certain I will love.   I love to cook and I love to eat, just not sure if this is just a short term interest for me or a long term hobby, I'm fickle so have to watch where I spend my disposable income!    This seems like a great forum and I hope to soon become an active member!

You will learn a lot here.  Ask questions to those who have the smokers you might be interested in.  They will tell you the pros and cons.

If you enjoy cooking and have an interest in smoking; I predict this will be a long term passion/obsession for you. That Smokin-It does look like a quality unit... jump in, get your feet wet and you will be off and smoking in no time!
