has anyone done an upgrade from the stock sound system?      i did last summer.  given that there's hardly any room to work with, had some idea's so i got what i needed  at the best price,  Pioneer super tuner 3 it didn't need to be high powered but its got all the connection's on the front,  USB port and ipods, cellphones and others.
i made them to lift up over the back seat and higher if there's anyone is back there, the whole thing can be turned around or taking out on the ground for tailgating or just having fun that includes a campground at 3AM  with some Hells Bells, highway to hell works as well too.

300 Watt AMP

pioneer 6 by 9's 4 ways   300watt

12 inch subwoofer  and encloser,   built everything else and its a tight fit back there i have to put a spacer between the woofer and the seat so they wont rub together.

its not the best but its not the worst setup,  back in high school (83-85) i would have given my left nad for this setup here

anything good back then had a high $$$$$ price tag.

i debated on using 2 of my BOSE 301's but a risk to getting them stolen,  i did hook up 2 of them just to see what 300 watts would sound like through them and  they blew those pioneers away,   its to much of a pain in the butt getting them down off the wall.
