Been wanting to do this one for awhile. Ever since tx smoker tx smoker cut up some sausage for skewers, I just knew I had to try my hand at them. I always made kabobs with cubed up beef, pork and chicken...the thought of cutting sausage links up never dawned on me. I originally planned to add halloumi cheese to the skewers because it can be grilled without melting, but my local supermarket was out of stock.

Using some special TX sausage that I had stashed away in the freezer.

Earlier in the day I cut up bell pepper, onion and mushroom and marinated in Italian dressing. When it was time to eat, I fired up the grill, sliced the sausages and assembled the skewers.

On the grill. High heat on all burners and turning often.

Skewers are done. Threw a little bit of fresh chopped rosemary and basil on top of them.

All done and ready to eat. Served with a Caprese salad on the side. Not much else to say, this was as simple as it gets but very easy and tasty.

Thank you Steve!

Yumm
Never tried sausage on the Q Bobs.
Forgive you for passing gas instead of coal or wood

Same here, never thought to use sausage for skewers. It’s one of those things so simple, I feel like an idiot for not knowing.

I had these planned for the little weber smokey joe but we had some bad Tstorms rolling in, so I opted for the speedier option.

WOW is about all I can say. That plated shot is just beautiful! Nice job all around Joe. I will toss a roll of quarters in for a ride man.

Joe...phenomenal meal my friend. Those are without doubt the best looking kabobs I've ever seen. Just gorgeous buddy....and as others have already said, that plated pic is breathtaking...magazine quality. I'm gonna toss my hat in the ring with everybody quoted above. If that doesn't get the ride I'd be astonished.

Big LIKE my friend!!
