Good to hear, less work. Like mentioned previously the grate will be great,I use to have a Weber Q like bear I wish I kept mine.

That brings back memories, my dad had an old cheap hibachi when I was growing up. The style that had adjustable grates and would rust out after one season. Made great steaks, burgers and dogs. Nice score

Nice score!
They still make Hibachis. I almost bought a "son-of-a-hibachi" with the snuff out bag about a year ago, but I did buy one as a gift for my daughter.

Dang man was that a great find or what. Had one of those el-cheapo's years ago and was some great food that came off that thing. Enjoy

Today I ordered some Pok Pok Thaan charcoal. I’ve heard good things about it and decided that it should work great in sportsman!

But that's only for cooking things that say Pok Pok ! :D Iv'e been looking at all the shapes/extrusions they have all over the world and wondering how they'd work in or cooking devices. One I was checking out was 6"Diam x 8"H and had 21 holes in it. Things that make ya go hmmm.....

Nice score! I've had a few Hibachi's over the years. But never one as nice as your Lodge. I'm looking at a them on on E-bay. But if I buy another grill I'll probably be "grilled" by the wife. I also have a Weber Q that I use to finish if needed. For 40 bucks you got a heck of a deal for sure.
