Is anyone here in the automotive or truck sales business?

If so, I could use a little help please.
I'm trying to find out what my old truck is worth, or a private sales price.
In the past, I'd use Kelly Blue Book, but now days they want too much personal info. and I'm not interested in giving them that info.

I'm wondering how much my fully loaded except for sunroof,
2006 2500HD Silverado 4x4, crew cab, it has the 6.0 gas engine in it and has, 166000 miles on it.

It's been in two minor fender benders, which were repaired professionally.
The truck is in great shape, except the driver's seat leather covering is coming apart a little at a seam.
Everything works great except the driver side heated seat, which went out yrs ago.
It has after market wheels with 275/ 16 or 17" Bridgestone Dualer's mud and snow tires on it.

It's always passed CA smog with no problems.

What should I ask for this truck?

Thanks a bunch.
Dan.

Go to edmunds.com and compare vehicles from your area. They have really good filters for what your looking for. Lets you know if below book, fair price, or over priced.

For got to mention 4x4, crew cab, sorry I sure messed that up, I'm tired.
I edited the OG post, thanks for catching my mistakes.
I just found the original build sheet in the glove box, so I will try the sites listed above.
Thanks a bunch.

I just tried Edmonds, it won't do anything without putting a lic # or vin#.
Bummer.

No help here but I’m seeing the same truck I have which is a 2012 Silverado 1500 z71 with 120k being sold for between $10-16k which is crazy high to me until I get the itch to look for a new truck and see them going for $45k and up. I just can’t justify spending that. In my old head I still think new truck is $30k haha. I know I’ll never be able to afford a new truck but hopefully I can keep mine on the road.

Dan sorry I'm not really any help. I can tell you around my neck of the woods a truck that runs and looks decent with decent miles is 10-15,000 it's crazy what any truck in decent shape goes for these days but with the price of new ones I guess I understand it. If it was diesel it would be over 15,000 with those miles. Hard to go buy book with those miles for it's age that's very low miles. My 04 Ford crew cab dually diesel has about 260,000 and they tell me that's low miles.

I hear ya it freaks me out every time I see truck prices. Had a friend buy a new Ford F350 single rear wheel Platinum last year 109,000 and he thought that was a great price yikes. Our first home was 50,000. We have gotten a couple newer vehicles in the last couple years and I thought the wife was gonna have a heart attack or something writing those checks.

If you’re looking to enjoy the full Minecraft experience, it’s important to go through official sources. Many websites offer downloads, but not all are safe or up-to-date. For a private sale, your 2006 2500HD Silverado 4x4 in good condition with 166,000 miles would likely be worth around $14,000 to $17,000, depending on local demand and buyer interest.
