Hello all. My name is John and I am from Hiawatha, Iowa. Just started smoking out here with my new smoker. Its not large, and it is gas but it is perfect for my backyard, for now. Moved out here from a rather large farm in Michigan after college. Our smoker on the farm was homemade and could do a whole hog....That being said I think I picked up some bad habits.
I love ribs, they are the quickest way to my heart. A good rib, an ice cold beverage and I am happy.
I am looking to become a little more technical in my smoking and to learn some new tricks.
I hope to buy a larger smoker shortly as we are building our new house with a grilling patio included.
