Was watching the history channel this morning and on a show called "American Eats" was a show about BBQ they said that Henry Ford was the Inventor of the briquette he use the wood chips left over from making his cars, also his cousin was named Kingsford Hence the name of the charcoal the Kingsford brand. Thought that was interesting.
