Installed the Tel-Tru on the Bayou Classic.

Went with the longer stem. It’s closer to the meats. Maiden Voyage will be on the brisket flat I’m smoking today. I’ll test with a probe for accuracy but from all my studying about Tel-Tru, it should be good.

I have 2 Tel Tru thermometers on my home built smoker. When I tested them with boiling water and against the thermapen they were spot on. They are good quality too...made right in Rochester NY
