Just got me an Inkbird BBQ 4T for my smoker. Have had all sorts of problems getting it to work with my phone. My first issue was because it was not charged enough, although the unit battery icon appeared to show full. The phone app showed 1%. So I charged the sucker to about 95% and gave it a spin on a chicken I'm smoking but it fell back to 1% again charged.
My smoker is in my back yard that has fairly good WiFi. I've seen the wifi icon dissappear on the unit when using it. Has anyone gotten these units to work out of the box?
