Okay, it isn't going to be me and it isn't a movie but a play. A local high school drama teacher/director is doing "Greased Lightning 2". She somehow got a hold of a pic of Lucile (my '55 BelAir 4dr sedan) and wants to use her in the play. Having been a high school drama student and stage hand and knowing how hard it is a times to find "period" correct props, I told her that she could use Lucile in her play. She said that Lucile will be listed in the handbill and I will get a footnote listing me as the owner. I will also get opening night tickets to the play for the family.

Me and Lucile . . .

She told me no harm or damage would be done to the car but we are still working out the details. One thing that I am adamant about is that they have some type of liablitiy insursance to cover any damages to Lucile.

Sounds way cool Dutch. Love to see those old classics lovingly restored. My Dad is working madly on a 65 Chevelle but he's going the hotrod route. You wouldn't happen to know anyone interested in a Stude?? it's a 52 starlight coupe. It really isn't suitable for stock resto but it would make a killer hot rod and the big bonus is the glass is all there.

I fell in love with Lucille the moment you presented her to us! She's got a lot of character, built of real steel and is an example of true American ingenuity. By golly, she even has a real full sized back seat!
