O.K. my fault ---- followed a recipe, pressed, and allowed them to tack up.

Problem ---- Then I threw them in my mothers "smoker" and turned it on. Went away for about 20min ( like a fool ) and came back to sizzling sausages. At that point I turned off the power and allowed the chips to continue smoking figured harm was already done. I knew I was not going to get a true cold smoke I was just moving along with too many projects to build a cold smoker at this point.

Question ---- Now that I cooked my sausage can they still be hung to dry ???

I would say No, but some one will be of more help soon.

Stop by roll call and introduce yourself properly, and tell us about yourself and your equiptment.
