Howdy from Texas (Did I really say howdy?!!)

Hello all

My DH and I just purchased a "Perfect Flame Vertical Gas Smoker" from Lowes - he seasoned it today and we are anxious to get smokin' but are trying to educate ourselves first! Been searching for recipes and tips and think I have found the best spot to learn here at SMF! Just wanted to give a shout out to all the pro's and the rest of us!!
