I work from home. When I'm not traveling, I will have the forum on 3-4 hours a day and I try to put in my $.02 worth at least once a day. Love this forum. Much better than some others I monitor.
I usually check things out while I am at work. So I am on and off through the day. Probably adds up to about an hour a day. But for the past few weeks things have been busy so I have not been arounds as much.
In some regards - probably too much. In others, probably not nearly enough. There is so much information and knowledge here. Like a BBQ College. Points are credits and graduation is OTBS! Gotta get learnin'!
Since I'm laid off I'm on here -ALOT-. I have my gmail on continuously to let me know when someone has added to a thread I've subscribed too. I guess it's like me 30 yrs ago when I had to hang out at the bars; afraid I'm goin to miss something, getting high off my budweiser (here I get a high off learning), and having to give my 2 cents worth (the more I drank the more I was Sigmund Freud).

I'm laid off also and since I don't ice fish or snowmobile I bring the wife to work then go to the gym, then surf till the wife calls me then I pick her up and go to the gym with her.
At least once a day - most days three or four times, maybe a total of 1 to 2 hours daily. Retirement made it a lot easier.
In the work world, sites like this were know as 'time wasters' by management (which I was). We'd turn a blind eye to some extra curricular web browsing activity but SMF is like crack - it's highly addictive.
Not enough to register yet . I have read a lot in a short period but there is alot of reading to do and many great posters to study tips from . I am sure to some I am on way TOO much but the newness is still with me .
