How many links

Good day all,

Using a 5lb mixed batch of sausage about how many stuffed 6inch links can you expect to get for say a bratwurst sized casing?

Forvols, made some brats with venison and pork about a month ago. It was a 15 pound batch and got about 60 brats out of that batch. Assuming a similar ratio, I would say about 20 in a 5 pound batch.

Yeap 20 4 oz brats in five pound. That what something like a Johnsonville bart would weigh. The size casing will also matter, a six inch long 24-26 brat will hold less then a 30-32 the same length.
